What You Will Contribute:

Field Service Engineers are responsible for providing install and repair work of their portfolio of products and will be working on the full range of water quality monitors, fixed gas detection monitors and flow meters. Full and comprehensive product training will be provided, so applicants are welcome from Service Engineers from a broad array of industry sectors but water/gas industry background is preferred.

Main Tasks

  • Support and advice for users and resellers on the installation and operation of measuring instruments
  • Commissioning as well as service and maintenance work on site
  • Analysis of measurement data
  • Working with measuring instruments in-house for testing purposes
  • Software-supported documentation and tracking of support cases and projects
  • Building relationships with customers
  • Providing training on site with end users
  • Service report writing
  • ability to share best practice with the team.

Requirements

Technical:

  • Electrical qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND essential)
  • Several years of professional experience in field support and service role
  • Water and gas knowledge desirable

Personal:

  • Structured and pro-active way of working
  • Excellent customer Service skills
  • Excellent and evidenced problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Advanced communication skills and confident appearance
  • Willing to work remotely
