Position: Billing & Admin Specialist
Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid: minimum one day in the office, including Tuesday)
Salary: £17.50 per hour
Contract Duration: 6 months (Likely to extend to 9 months)

Overview

We're seeking a Senior Specialist to join the Record to Report team within Co-op Business Services (CBS), a diverse organisation focused on delivering high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective services.

In this role, you'll be essential in driving commercial performance by ensuring timely billing and cash allocation. Your proactive approach will enhance Co-op's operations related to billing, cash disputes, refunds, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Act as a key player in achieving service levels, targets, and deadlines.
  • SAP S4 Hana Support: Assist in the transition to SAP S4 Hana by providing insights into new processes and resolving queries independently.
  • UAT and Testing: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and develop Test Scripts to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Billing & Cash Management: Manage billing processes, cash allocation, disputes, and refunds, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough records of all correspondence related to billing and cash activities.

Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • ERP Experience: Proficient in SAP S4 Hana.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas).
  • Billing and Administration: Solid experience in billing and administration, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of resolving issues independently and demonstrating initiative.
  • Continuous Improvement Focus: Committed to personal and team development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
