Job Description

Job title: Mechanical Project Engineering
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: As soon as possible subject to clearance
Salary Range: Depending on experience

Location: Bridgwater
Working Location: Site based (Hybrid arrangements can be negotiated)
Hours of work: 40 hrs per week

Role & Responsibilities:

* Developing and implementing strategies and plans in line with the overall programme execution plan (PEP), setting out how the programme of work will be managed, organised, and executed.
* Driving the delivery of the contract or package activities to ensure they are delivered safely on time, to budget, meeting business & technical requirements.
* Maintaining communications with stakeholders and executing the project or programme EP strategies within their contract or package of work.
* Anticipating, managing, and resolving issues within the contract or package. Identifying risks and facilitating the resolution of all issues raised, developing, and updating the programme budget, and escalating any issues to the Delivery Manager.
* Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all project team members.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

* Minimum of 5 years' experience
* Nuclear Industry experience or in a highly regulated/safety critical industry
* Experience with whole project life cycle
* Educated to ONC level (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering (Piped Systems, HVAC, Drainage Heating & Cooling) working towards HNC (Preferred).

This role does require the candidate to be able to obtain Security clearance.
