Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance and Repair Lead
Job Type: Permanent Staff
Start Date: As soon as possible, subject to security clearance
Salary Range: Competitive (Based on experience)

Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Full Site Based/Hybrid/Remote Working: Full Site Based (negotiable hybrid working)
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week
Role & Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a project maintenance and repair team, solving complex construction, installation, and logistics challenges.
* Ensure the maintenance and repair work aligns with Hinkley Point C's project scope, safety standards, and schedule.
* Study project drawings and specifications, ensuring understanding of technical, administrative, and contractual requirements.
* Supervise health and safety on-site, ensuring adherence to regulations and internal policies; promoting a "Come Home Safe" culture.
* Develop and monitor risk assessments and method statements to ensure "best working practices" are followed across the site.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
Key Must Haves:
* Degree/HNC/HND in a construction or engineering discipline (Level 3 ONC minimum, ideally Level 4 HNC in Joinery or Engineering).
* Nuclear Experience or experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., major EPC projects, Rail, Energy, etc)
* Minimum Years' Experience: 5+ years in construction, maintenance, or project management roles.
* Formal Qualifications: Relevant Health and Safety qualification, NVQ Level 3 in Construction Site Supervision, and a full driving license.
