Job Description

Job title: Manufacturing Data Technician
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £30,000-£35,000 Depending on experience
Location: Wolverhampton
Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- BTEC qualified or above (or equivalent industrial experience)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle and process engineering data efficiently and accurately
- Able to recognise engineering drawings and parts lists
- Understanding of the assembly process
- Good communication skills
- Able to produce clear manufacturing instructions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Able to gain security clearance
Role information:

- Assist in generating manufacturing data and documentation including manufacturing inspection and test plans
- Issue route cards with clear manufacturing instructions
- Review drawing prior to release for manufacturing to ensure alignment with the correct revisions
- Input, control and update manufacturing within production control and MRP systems
- Ensure materials and parts meet the required quality standards
- Review production time bookings against estimates to check performance metrics
