Job title: Quality Engineer
Job type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP, subject to clearance
Salary: £58,000-£68,000 per annum
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Hours of work: 36.5hrs. 9 day fortnights

Applicants must posses the following:
* Experience/certification in ISO 9001:2015 lead auditing
* Good understanding of inspection processes
* Strong problem solving skills
* Competency in producing and monitoring KPI's as well as creating QA dashboards
* Minimum 3 years Quality Engineering experience or be degree qualified

Candidates would ideally have:
* Experience with Six Sigma tools
* A solid grasp of QA best practices.
* An understanding of document management systems.

Role information:
* Provide and demonstrate strong safety leadership within a highly regulated environment
* Ensure all site activities are carried out safely
* Assist in capturing the changes to Quality requirements as it relates to contract requirements
* Maintain and update Quality Assurance Plans
* Overseeing Quality Management System in line with project policies and requirements
* Ensure there is effective communication and training implemented within the project team.
* Record and measure the competency of the Quality Management System in order to ensure improvements are made
* Prepare audit plans (such as supplier assessment audits) and then progress action plans accordingly
* Coordinate plans for external audits of the site project
