Job title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Up to £44,000
Location: Barrow
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Understanding of CAD tools and methodologies
- HNC/ONC or degree in relevant STEM subject or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of mechanical routed systems at both 2D and 3D level in piping or HVAC design
- Experience in mechanical compartment integration
Role information:

- Produce 3D models of pipe routes, HVAC systems or mechanical compartment arrangements
- Produce 2D drawings and electronic data to support manufacturing, installation and testing of products
- Work alongside other design team members and stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met
- Produce an integrated design that meets customer expectations
