Job Description

Job title: Senior/Principal C&I Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £50,000-£60,000 Depending on experience
Location: Whitehaven, Manchester, Warrington or Croydon
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- Experience of the full engineering lifecycle
- Experience with design justification reports
- Technical report writing skills
- Familiarity with instrumentation and control system theory including PID control
- Able to gain SC clearance
- Understanding of PLC programming
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Chartership status

Role information:

- Support the development of resource estimates
- Develop design solutions to the agreed time, cost and quality requirements
- Produce the documentation required to support the design review process including diagrams, calculations and technical speculations
- Ensure contractual requirements are complied with alongside safety, environmental, standards and procedures
- Review supplier documentation
- Undertake design reviews
