QA/QC Inspector

Job Description

Job title: QA/QC Inspector
Job type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Salary/Benefits: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum + 28 days holidays and life assurance
Location: Seascale. Cumbria
Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Applicants must posses the following:
- CSWIP 3.1
- PCN Level 2 in MPI and DPI
- Ability to gain SC clearance
- Experience reviewing LTQR's

Role information:
- Conduct visual inspections of raw materials, in-process components and finished products
- Test materials and finished products using the appropriate equipment to ensure they meet requirements
- Ensure products meet industry regulations and adhere to customer requirements
- Provide necessary documentation to support audits and inspections
- Work with the production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and in good condition
- Provide guidance and training to production staff in relation to quality where required
