Job Description

Field Service Engineer - Permanent Role - Up to £35k + Overtime - Milton Keynes based

A leading global supplier of door systems to the rail industry is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the repair, overhaul, and upgrade of its core portfolio. This role involves on-site troubleshooting, system integration, preventative maintenance, and customer training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose malfunctions and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct repairs, replacements, and technical assessments.
• Provide technical support and execute service contracts.
• Document errors, repairs, and work progress.
• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical assembly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Travel flexibility, including overnight stays and weekend work.

Requirements:

• Mechanical qualifications.
• Experience with troubleshooting, technical specifications, and component overhaul.
• Proficiency in customer training and reporting.
• Knowledge of sliding steps, drives, and door systems.
• Strong computer literacy.
