Job title: Field Construction Manager
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: Permanent
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: Up to £90,000 depending on experience
Location: Seascale/Whitehaven
Hours of work: 38 hours per week
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- NVQ Level 3 obtained as a time served apprentice
- HNC/HND in mechanical/electrical/ civil and structural engineering
- 5 years minimum construction supervisory experience
- Knowledge of construction methodologies and safety procedures
- Highly regulated industry experience
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Bachelors in mechanical/electrical/structural engineering
- Experience managing multi-discipline teams

Role information:

- Manage and approve construction work packages
- Manage pre-construction works
- Lead a team of construction engineers
- Act as the main point of contact for the engineering team to report issues that need escalating to the project engineering manager
- Manage work pack delivery for the site construction team prior to works commencing
- Liaise with the construction planning team to ensure the construction schedule is met
- Ensure construction works are undertaken safely and efficiently
