Job title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job Type: Contract
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Start date: Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 Months
Pay rate: £70 p/h Umbrella
Location: Devonport
Hybrid: Remote with 2 days on site per month
Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Role information:
- Manage the delivery of mechanical engineering work packages to the required scop, quality, schedule and cost.
- Ensure that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required and is produced to the agreed standards, schedule and budget.
- Ensure that the process and activities being manager are appropriately documented with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls applied.
- Ensure that staff and contractors are familiar with the hazards and risks associated with the work undertaken by the delegated engineering team through effective management and communication of the Risk Assessment.

Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Design experience in Highly regulated industry
- Provide advise to junior members
- Experience with line managing designers

UK National Security Vetting Status - All candidates must be Eligible to obtain SC clearance
