Duration: 12 months with possible extension

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Analyst to join our client's expert team, carrying out advanced mechanical engineering design and simulation tasks. Your expertise will contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies critical to the success of nuclear fusion energy.

Key Responsibilities:
Innovative Design & Analysis:
* Apply classical methods and cutting-edge calculation tools to evaluate and develop design concepts.
* Create and enhance FE models of components, complex multi-body assemblies, and coupled multi-physics systems.
* Lead system-wide simulation and validation work packages.

Code Development & Validation:
* Write, test, and validate analysis code modules to expand simulation capabilities.
* Oversee processes and documentation for code development.

Functional Verification:
* Use simulation tools to verify designs against load specifications and functional requirements.
* Compile load specifications and manage teams to ensure design functionality and reliability.

What We're Looking For:
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in engineering analysis or design roles.

Technical Expertise:
* Proven expertise in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulation techniques.
* Strong knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and multi-physics simulations.

Soft Skills:
* Effective leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams in high-impact projects.
* Problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
