Job Description

Job title: Site Quality Manager
Job type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Pay rate: £55-£60 per hour Umbrella / £41.53-£45.27 per hour PAYE
Location: Seascale, Cumbria (Fully site based)
Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Applicants must posses the following:
- Nuclear industry experience
- Good working knowledge of all relevant regulations and legislations
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001
- Proficient in ICT and Microsoft Office applications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- HNC in relevant discipline

Ideally applicants should also be:
- Lead auditor trained

Role information:
- Develop and manage site quality arrangements
- Advise on all aspects of quality management
- Manage other quality personnel
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers
- Ensure quality requirements are defined during induction and training
- Monitor progress against site quality requirements
- Review enquiries, tenders and contract documentation in regards to quality requirements and contract specifications
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are understood
- Review purchase requisitions/orders for quality requirements input
- Undertake supplier assessments
