Job Description
Job title: Electrical Design Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 6 months
Location: Didcot
Hours of work: 37 hours
Applicants must have experience of the following:
- HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD electrical software
- BS7671:2018 IET Wiring Regulations
- Able to use Trimble Pro design software
- Good working knowledge of cabling, electrical manufacturing and installation techniques
Ideally applicants should also have:
- IET membership
- Experience working in a scientific research environment
Role information:
- Design BS7671:2018 compliant low voltage electrical supply and distribution systems
- Facilitate integration of new designs into existing site supply and distribution infrastructure
- Plan, organise and deliver work packages to set project deadlines
