We're proud to announce we are working with the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) as a RIDI 100 partner 2019. RIDI is working to improve the lives of millions of disabled people throughout the UK who face barriers entering the job market.
This initiative was formed in 2011 due to 85% of disabled people feeling their condition was holding them back from getting a job. Becoming a RIDI 100 partner allows us to support this by working to unlock the potential of disabled people in their search for an entry into the job market.
The decision to become a RIDI 100 partner was led by Rullion Managing Director Melanie Forbes, who is passionate about improving opportunities for disabled people and leading Rullion on a journey to become disability confident, creating more opportunities in the job market.
“I’m excited to be working with such an important and inspiring initiative as RIDI. This is a fantastic opportunity for Rullion to learn and improve our own practices, as well as improving opportunities available for disabled people in the job market. This is the start of what we know will be a fantastic partnership. Our vision is to unlock the potential in all of us and we’re excited to be working with RIDI to achieve this.”
